WHO DONE IT?: The Genesis
The greatest mysteries aren't just written—they are felt in the rhythm. The spark for Who Done It? came from a desire to combine the dark, gripping suspense of a vintage Agatha Christie-style parlor game with the bright, energetic pulse of 1920s Charleston swing music.
I wanted to build a world where high-stakes drama and dark comedy could dance to the exact same beat.
The vision started with a single character concept: a classic, sharp-witted Belgian detective named Monsieur Moustache stepping into a Victorian manor filled with six classic archetype suspects, secrets, and a candlestick in the library.
But every good mystery needs a twist that breaks the rules. While mapping out the storyboard, the ultimate breakthrough came in the form of a witness nobody would ever expect—a tiny, mysterious dancing mouse who holds the key to the entire case.
Filmed as a stylish, darkly playful short film, Who Done It? invites you to look past the vintage glamour, look closely for the hidden clues, and solve the crime for yourself. But make haste because the clock is ticking fast...
