My Story So Far

 

 

I've had a couple of chart-toppers in the UK and Europe with "Somebody Somewhere" and

"I Don't Want Your Love" (thanks to WauMrModo, Perfecto, and RCA labels).

Guess what? I totally won the SKY TV talent show "Sky Star Search," and it was aired all over the globe!

I've been lucky enough to share the stage with some seriously amazing acts, like:

Edwin Starr, Jimmy James & The Vagabonds, The Drifters, George McCrae, Gino Vannelli, The Searchers, and Showaddywaddy.

Oh, and I also lent my voice to Gino Vannelli's album "Inconsolable Man," where you can catch me on three tracks, including the super popular "Moment To Moment."

Music has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember!

I kicked things off by singing and learning to play the electric organ when I was just 7, and honestly, I’ve never looked back.

Can you believe I had my first professional gig at 12?

It was such a rush, and it totally pushed me to dive into a music career by the time I hit 15.

I’ve jumped into loads of talent shows and auditions, all because I’m super determined and excited about it!

I’m definitely the kind of person who loves to take charge and grab every chance that comes my way.

 

I was super eager to sing with Gino Vannelli because, honestly, he was the best of the best back in the day.

So, I shot him a message, letting him know who I was and what I dreamed of musically.

To my surprise, Gino invited me out to Los Angeles in his studio in Agoura Hills to record a duet for his album 'Inconsolable Man,' specifically the single "Moment To Moment." What started as just a duet turned into me doing backing vocals for a couple more songs on the album!

 

 

I've been really lucky to share the stage with some amazing legends like Jimmy James, The Drifters, Edwin Starr, and George McCrae.

George and I even got together to record some duets that I wrote myself—"Step Into My Heart" in 2023 and "Gotta Have It" in 2024. How cool is that?

 

Anita Baker is my absolute jam, but honestly, I vibe with any soulful artist who hits me right in the feels.

I totally admire those artists with long-lasting careers, like Anita Baker, Jennifer Holliday, Santana, Gino Vannelli, and anything that’s got that funky groove.

I totally love belting out some soul and funk, but I can jam to all kinds of music!

• Winner of the Chartburst Number 1 Singer & Song competition
• Champion of the SKY STAR SEARCH competition on SKY TV in the United Kingdom
• Recipient of the Newcomer Award at DME
• Featured in articles in renowned publications such as Melody Maker, NME, The Record, The Mirror, The News Of The World, as well as various Belgian and Dutch newspapers, among others.
